Falcon Restructures Corporate Organization
As Falcon approaches its 20th anniversary, and as we consider the enhanced opportunities in the US commercial real estate market in 2011, we felt it was appropriate to take some steps to strengthen the management of the company. For many years the company had operated as a partnership, but since the tax advantages that had been associated with the partnership form of organization had disappeared, and since there was greater flexibility in the corporate form, we established a new Delaware corporation, Falcon Real Estate Investment Management, Ltd. as of January 1st.
At the same time, several people were promoted: Amaury de Parcevaux and Kenneth Lorman, both to Senior Vice President, and Scott Bennett and Norman Hill to First Vice President. As a result, the officers of the company are now the following, all of whom are also directors of the company:
- Howard Hallengren, Chairman
- Scott Bennett, Chief Operating Officer
- Jack Miller, President
- Scott Sweeney, Executive Vice President
and Head of Asset Management - Amaury de Parcevaux, Senior Vice President
and Chief Marketing Officer - Kenneth Lorman, Senior Vice President
and Senior Acquisitions Officer - Norman Hill, First Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer
In addition, Dan Stockalper joined Falcon as a Vice President and as our Middle East marketing representative.
The Board of Directors has appointed the following committees:
- Executive Committee:
- Howard Hallengren, Chairman
- Scott Bennett
- Jack Miller
- Investment Committee:
